Your Instructor
Julie Halama, RYT-200, has been a student and practitioner of yoga for over a decade, when a visit with family and an impromptu yoga class sparked what would become one of her greatest passions. Through her personal practice, she has experienced first hand the healing and therapeutic aspects of yoga, overcoming obstacles and improving her own mental and physical health. After completing her 200 hour training with Michelle Plante at Prasada Yoga Center in North Hampton, NH, Julie decided to combine her love of teaching and yoga with her love of children and became certified through ChildLight Yoga. Julie teaches yoga to children of all ages, with classes that are expressive and playful, instilling self-love and confidence and giving her students an outlet to voice their inner feelings. As a teacher, her intention is to create a safe space where everyone feels self-compassion and acceptance in the present moment.
