Join CEC trainer Ann Biese as she guides you through a Joint Freeing Series of Yoga (JFS) for youth athletes. This is the foundation for all large joint movement study of the body as developed by Mukinda Stiles. Through the teaching of JFS, it gives young athletes physical and mental benefits, and helps provide for safer and healthier movement in their athletics. Ann will share additional resources to help your students use these techniques and derive the benefits beyond sports.
Your Instructor
Ann Biese, C-IAYT, E-RYT 500, RCYT, MBSR-T, YACEP, is an international Yoga Instructor, IAYT Certified Yoga Therapist and Teacher Trainer for ChildLight. She is also a Yoga and Meditation Therapist in pediatric settings in Boston, including Massachusetts General Hospital and formerly at Tufts Floating. Ann has taught MBSR and yoga to various youth groups and teen athletes across the country. She has been a featured speaker on meditation and mindfulness in hospitals, schools and corporate settings. Ann is also the author of the award-winning children’s book Worry Bee and Mindful Moon. She enjoys volunteering as an instructor for Go Give Yoga and was featured in North Shore Magazine for her volunteer work in Massachusetts. View Ann’s video bio on the ChildLight YouTube channel.
