Kids Korner Book Group: Feelings
A 90-Minute Book Group for Adults
Meg Durkin, a former librarian and current CEC Trainer, shares children's books that focus on the topic of "feelings." This course begins and ends with self-care exercises. Meg opens with a centering exercise and brief, beginner-friendly yoga, then moves into an hour-long discussion providing ideas on how to integrate yoga & literacy. Specifically, Meg explains how to add mindful movement into a child-centered discussion about these books for lesson planning. The class ends with a guided closing exercise.
You do not need to own the books that will be discussed.
