A Written Curriculum to Promote Kindness & Inclusion
This curriculum is designed for grade levels K-3, and can be modified accordingly depending on age group. Lessons of Care & Compassion is designed to further teach and expand upon the importance of treating all with compassion and kindness. Through the design of art projects, reading, and discussion, we explore these essential ideas and actions.
Your Instructor
April Duckworth has a Masters in Elementary Education and a professional background in education, content curriculum design, and project management of national art and music integration programs. April is also a published children’s author. April has been recognized on the university level for exceptional teaching and critical thinking skills, and also has an extensive portfolio of curriculum content in which she has written and implemented into schools and enrichment programs. April currently teaches plant-based nutrition and food & sustainability, and also writes a weekly blog sharing her knowledge and experience of a plant-based lifestyle, family recipes, resources, and inspiration.
